We often forge the deepest bonds when we are working together for the benefit of UU Wellesley or the larger world.

UU Wellesley’s two major fundraisers, our annual Rummage Sale and our Goods and Services Auction, provide the opportunity for members and friends to share their time, talents, and treasures to raise funds for our operating budget (with a percentage going to charitable organizations in the community). We enjoy each other’s company as we hunt for bargains! Congregation members who volunteer to help care for our buildings and grounds form lasting friendships over leaf rakes and donuts.  Teaching for our Religious Education Program and mentoring Senior Youth who are participating in Coming of Age enable us to build meaningful connections across generations.

We frequently work side by side to make a difference in our community and beyond, relying on one another’s special gifts.  There are countless opportunities for connection while taking action as part of a Social Justice initiative or Service-Learning expedition.  We often depend on each other for inspiration and support when we move outside of our comfort zones together!
